Every tour is run by our fully licensed and insured partner in Khao Lak, a dedicated team of professional drivers and English-speaking guides who take pride in showing you around the places they call home.

Flexibility & Support

Plans change, we get it and that's okay. We make rescheduling or cancelling simple, and we are always here to help with advice or local tips, whether you have booked with us or not.

Same Local Prices

Our prices are exactly the same as booking locally in Khao Lak, with no fees or hidden extras. All tours include hotel pick-up, round-trip transportation, lunch and drinks, equipment, and National Park entrance fees. Prefer not to pay in full upfront? You can secure any tour with a deposit, then pay the balance in cash to your guide on the morning of the trip. Contact us before checkout and we’ll send you a deposit code.

Why Choose us?

At Tokay Tours, we work in partnership with just one  local operator. That means you always know exactly who you are booking with,  and who is running the tour.
KLFT are a fully licenced and insured team with years of experience guiding travellers through jungles, villages, islands and temples.
Unlike big online travel agents who pass you between multiple operators, we keep it personal, direct, and consistently reliable.
We take care of the logistics so you don’t have to. All you need to do is browse our tour page, secure your dates and your guide will pick you up from your hotel/resort.
It’s straightforward, secure, and designed to save you time. That means no wasted holiday hours haggling or second guessing, and more time to enjoy Thailand your way, knowing everything has already been arranged.

Frequently Asked Questions When Visiting Khao Lak

That depends what you mean by Best. Khao Lak enjoys a tropical climate, the dry season runs from November to April and is the most popular time for visitors. Sunny skies, calm seas and cooler temperatures make this the ideal time for beach days, snorkeling and diving, island adventures and jungle treks.
Rainy season starts in May and ends in October, bringing with it occasional heavy showers and rough seas. Although some beach and Island tours are off the itinerary, many people prefer to visit at this time as flights are a fraction of the cost, hotels slash their prices, the restaurants, bars and markets are all open except you have the place more or less to yourself without the crowds.

Many nationalities can enjoy Visa-free travel to the Kingdom for up to 30 days, including the UK and many European nations however, it is strongly advised that you check before travel to see if your country is exempt.
The Thailand Digital Arrivals Card (TDAC) is a mandatory electronic entry requirement for all foreign nationals entering Thailand, regardless of their visa status. Effective from May 1 2025, visitors must complete the TDAC online 3 days prior to entry in to the Kingdom, be that by Land, Sea or by Air

This area of Thailand has an abundance of wildlife, but sightings are not always guaranteed. Some animals  like Monkeys, Tokay Geckos, Water Monitors, Egrets, Kingfishers, Frogs and Butterflies are an almost every day sight.
Other species like Gibbons, Wild Elephants, Hornbills, otters Civets and Sun Bears are more easily spotted in places like Khao Sok National Parkor even locally at Lam Ru National Park.

Snorkelling and diving  are  great ways to get up close and personal with a rich variety of marine life. Expect to see colourful Clown fish, Parrot fish, Angel fish, Sea Turtles and many others that call the beautiful coral reefs their home.

Our prices are the same as what you pay locally, no booking/card fees, commissions or hidden extras, the price you see is the price you pay (Note: your bank or card provider may still apply their standard fees). Plus, we offer group discounts, regular promotional offers and  free child places on select tours giving you added value when you book online with us.
Booking with us also guarantees your seat on popular tours, so you’re not wasting valuable holiday time planning and booking tours. Instead, you can make the most of your time with the kids on the beach, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying a massage while sipping cocktails. With UK-based support and booking protection, everything is taken care of in advance so all you have to do is relax and soak it all in

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It covers medical care, flight delays, and lost/stolen belongings. Tokay Tours, and our partner KLFT are fully insured, but this is only for the duration of any trips and tours booked through us, and not for the entirety of your trip to Thailand. We strongly recommend you take out private insurance before your trip, in case of emergency some hospitals may ask for proof of insurance before they begin treatment.
